"Pre ordering is annoying"

Hi, this one star is purely to get your attention, because I want to stress most strongly that pre-ordering for parties of 8 or more is annoying.
A - it's an admin hassle, getting all the table to choose what they're going to eat 5 days early. Dining out should be a pleasure, not tedious of chasing of friends to make decisions they don't want to make, because -
B - the time to choose what you're going to eat is when you're sitting at the table, with a drink, when you know what you had for lunch and how you feel, not five days before at your desk.
C - It's pointless. The argument that you need to get the food in is disingenuous. You have a certain number of covers you can do a night. What if all of those are all tables of 4? You deal with it. So surely you can deal with it if two of those fours amalgamate into an 8.
