The Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst

"Poor environment and poor food."

You arrive by the front door and see a sign saying wait here to be seated - someone calls at you from behind the reception desk right over at the other side of the room. Bad start.
You get seated at the bottom of a frequently used stairway next to a couple of 90 year olds bellowing at each other over their lunch when almost every other table in the bar is free. It got worse.
The soup was tasteless, the vegetables which came with the supreme of chicken were cold and the sauce was congealed. And worse.
Then somehow the set price meal offer of £40 for 2 persons got magnified to £72 overall. The prices charged for wine turned out to be £10/glass and for Guinness over £6/pint. And somehow they think its so reasonable to assume you want to give a tip that they add 10% to the bill. I at least had the pleasure of asking them to take it off again.
Your website and your product are miles apart. Don't expect us back anytime soon.
