"Gone Down Hill"

Arrived 20 minutes early for lunch, sat at our reserved table, and was told they would take our food order at 12. I had to go looking for a member of staff, to ask if our food order could be taken. Waiter looked like he was doing us a favour, and he'd rather not be bothered taking it. 20-25 minutes later our food came. My risotto was lovely as ever, but my husbands chips where not cooked properly. We had an appt at 1.30, so had to leave as soon as the food was consumed. To add a service charge when the service is rubbish, is a bit off. Then told if paying by cash, you must have correct money or round it up. The tables smelt dirty, and no one else was eating in the bar, just drinking. Sad, as it was a treat for us eating out at lunch time.
