"Afternoon Tea "

I arrived with a group of friends for afternoon tea this afternoon , although I was a little early , I was greeted by a friendly staff member, I was shown to the table which had only been set for two and not 6.
One of the group was going to be a little late arriving which I explained, but we were told it would be ready for 2 by the chef , the food arrived at 2.20 , I then had to ask for plates as only two arrived and the plates we then had were slightly bigger than saucers , the table was very crowded ( we really needed another table on which the tea and coffee could be placed)and we all thought that the dull stainless teapots were really out of place.
I had to go and and ask for little pots of jam as only one person had jam to go with their scones , the waitress did come back and asked if we wanted more tea which we said , the tea and clean cups came but no milk , I had to go into the back area twice to find staff and ask for milk, likewise I had to search for a staff member for the bill.
This will be the third time we have been for afternoon tea and we were not happy on this visit, it may have been that they were busy but that shouldn't matter we were paying for a service that they offer
