"What an absolute disappointment the Afternoon Tea was"

I booked an afternoon Tea for 3; my elderly mother and my brother. It was supposed to be a special occasion however I was embarrassed by the plate that was presented. There were very few sandwiches, the cakes/brownie were equivalent to boxed supermarket cakes that were dry and poorly presented. The choice of sandwiches fillers were very poor: cream cheese and thick wedges of cucumber, cheap packet ham with browning salad, salmon and cream cheese were ok and cheese and tasteless pickle. These fillings were very mediocre for the price. The scenes were ok, if not tiny. A really disappointing experience and we will not be returning
