"We felt cared for. "

This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Conwy. The vibe is old world artistic classic with up to date rooms, amenities and service. It is spotlessly clean and the rooms and en-suites beautifully appointed. The beds are so cosy and comfortable. We booked a table for dinner (food is first class and smaller portions are available) for us and two friends in their 80s. Our table was well chosen by the staff with comfortable chairs and a little privacy. All the staff had been informed of our request to have seats reserved for us in the lounge for after the meal and had everything ready for us. We felt cared for. Because this hotel is right on the Main Street of this busy little walled town with its independent shops and cafés, rooms at the front are noisy from about 5am with delivery vans coming up the cobbled streets, so if you need to sleep late maybe a room at the back would suit you, but you’d miss the feeling of being right in the heart of the town’s life. The hotel has two car parks , one at the rear through a narrow archway, and a smaller more open one opposite. If you have a huge car or van, there are other (paying) car parks in the town and just outside the walls. All in all, we had a refreshing and happy three day stay in this historic hotel.
