"Great food and nice atmosphere"

We were a group of four on Mothering Sunday. There was a 60th birthday party in the same room, which worked out fine for us as it created a party atmosphere. The high ceiling also helped reduce the noise levels.
The Sunday menu option was very good as not everyone wanted a roast dinner. The food was delicious - I especially enjoyed the roast chicken. The vegetables were fresh and cooked with some lovely flavours.
Service was great, with all saff being very accommodating. The restaurant was busy, but the staff seemed to always be ontop of things. We were surprised when our food arrived in pretty good time, especially considering the large party to cater for.
