The George Hotel, Dorchester

"Lovely inn, service excellent but one meal was not great"

Lovely inn. Staff were lovely and attentive. Food was reasonably priced. Had the Sunday roast which was very good and plenty of veg with it. Unfortunately the other meal which was a whole grilled plaice (which although you had a decent fillet) was very salty as was the samphire (although do recognise that samphire is meant to be a little salty) and detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. Brought this to attention of the waitress and were offered another meal but did not take the offer up,
