"First time user"

Accommodation was good, bed comfortable and nice touches by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the billing, it was incomplete and overcooked. The chef on the night was too interested in his mobile phone and could be seen to be slumped over the passé. I ordered the liver and bacon with vegetables; no vegetables. My daughter had pie of the day, the pastry was rock hard and shattered everywhere when she did manage to force her knife through it. My wife had the fish cakes which were very dry, perhaps overcooked.
