"Disappointing"

My husband and stayed for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary. The room was lovely, comfortable and well thought out. The main problem we had was with the dining experience. Firstly on our first evening we had dinner in the restaurant, I had to send my starter back as it was cold. I ordered the pie of the day for my main after I was told it was chicken but when I cut into it, it was ox cheek.secondly we hadn’t got breakfast included but decided to treat ourselves on our last morning, we were extremely surprised when we read our bill that we had been charged for toast?? We weren’t told we would be charged for it and we’ve never been charged for toast as an extra before with a full English breakfast. We weren’t very happy at all. Also I’d like to say that the housekeeping didn’t replenish our tea and coffee but did leave another bottle of water and complimentary biscuits and we were also disappointed that our bed hadn’t been remade. It’s not cheap to stay at your hotel and our overall feeling is that we’re disappointed.
