"Disappointing "

Having dined on the Terrace previously with our well behaved dog I telephoned on the Saturday to book for the Sunday for lunch.
Connection to an answer phone and left message.
Did not hear back so went on to the booking site and booked for 2 people and well behaved dog on the terrace at 2.45 pm.
When we arrived we were informed that they no longer serve food on the terrace and as we had a dog we would have to use the pub.
We were very disappointed and despite explaining that we had written confirmation of our booking there was nothing the Manager was prepared to do to assist us.
