The Moorland Country Hotel & Inn, Haytor

"A big improvement!"

Having not been here for over a year, my friends and I were pleasantly surprised. The refurbishment is very nice and classy, the staff were friendly and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The younger staff could probably do with extra training as when I asked what the ingredients were in the coconut curry, the waitress replied that it probably contained …..and then mentioned a few vegetables. She should have said ‘ I will find out for you’, so this is what I asked her to do. We will definitely return.
