The Moorland Country Hotel & Inn, Haytor

"Short Devon break"

We had a lovely time at the hotel, which is perfectly located for Haytor and the surrounding moors.
We ate in the conservatory restaurant and the bar and all our meals were excellent, including breakfast.
The rooms were a good size and we had a view over the gardens. Being an older building sound travelled, but was not too disturbing.
Staff were attentive, welcoming, and friendly, which also contributed to a lovely short break.
