"A warm welcome prelude to excellent visit"

Great choice of seats, lovely afternoon so sat in the conservatory. I was impressed by the makeover , since my last visit.
The staff were very accommodating, limited menu but ideal for late afternoon eating 16.00pm. To my surprise...as it was my birthday the cost of my main meal was deducted from the bill. Certainly would return, house real ale worth trying as well.
