The Moorland Country Hotel & Inn, Haytor

"Most food good, service slow."

We asked to get drinks at the bar before being taken to our table but were told the waiting staff would take our drinks order. It took almost 15 minutes for anyone to appear. Service in general was slow especially for the desserts to arrive and this only after having reminded the barman. Fair enough we were told the desserts would be complimentary but when they finally arrived the sauce on one of them was inedible - I'm sure a mistake must have been made in the kitchen. Otherwise the food was very nice.
