"Excellent food and a friendly atmosphere"

Booked lunch with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. It was some peoples first visit, and everyone really enjoyed their meals, there was a good choice of dishes on the menu and everything was well presented and served promptly. The only slight issue was that the ‘pudwich’ was listed as ‘roast of the day’ rather than a specific meat, which as it was roast beef came with hourseradish already added. This hadn’t been listed and my friend intensely dislikes it, so the meal had to be replaced, which it was quickly and without issue, but this could do with clarifying. Other than that, an excellent meal.
