"Mouseman Table"

Visited Friday market day .Requested the famous Mouse Robert Thompson table by window ,beautiful piece of wood and carving. Wonderful professional member of staff served us ,drinks order ,then meal order. Fresh iced water brought to the table without asking. Had the best beer battered fish and chips . ,peas and curry beautifully served within 10 mins of taking the order, best in a long time .Staff member came to ask If everything was all ok.a nice touch. A lovely meal in a wonderful historic coaching inn in beautiful Helmsley .Hope to visit again next month . Excellent place..
