The Old Bridge Hotel, Holmfirth

"Family weekend "

The hotel staff were very efficient and friendly, we bought our dog and she was very well looked after. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice, for evening meal and breakfast. Parking was a little tight but we managed to get a space.
Unfortunately the room was very hot and the fan we were given was not very good, we opened our windows but due to the position of our room it over looked several bars which were open until 2 pm. So due to this we didn't get much sleep. The room was quite small but ok and the cleanliness was not as good as we would have expected, there was talc on the bathroom floor and some stains in the toilet and sink. The carpet next to the bed didn't look like it had been vacuumed. It is a very convenient hotel as you are right in the centre of town, if you want a quiet night away I wouldn't recommend it.
