The Old Bridge Hotel, Holmfirth

"Wouldn’t stay again"

We stayed for one night to meet friends and have an evening with them. First arrived and there was no parking anywhere at the hotel or car park facing so ended up 5min walk away at a coop car park. Checked in to hotel and the staff was very Friendly. Went to the room it looked ok until I went into the bathroom, which hadn’t been cleaned the floor was dirty, the sink had stains in the bottom and the shower was full of orange scum on tiles and shower head. Then when it was time for bed around 11.30 we had to close the windows because if the noise from the bar below but even with the windows closed it made no difference ( room to hot then)in the end it was gone 1 o’clock be we finally fell asleep the was woken up at 6 by bin men emptying the glass bins so over all would not pay£124 for a dirty room and no sleep again.
