"Great hotel"

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights for my 70th birthday, the staff are amazing, food great. We love this hotel , as this was our second visit, and will be back. The only let down was that I forgot my birthday cards which was left in our room. I contacted the hotel and the very helpful receptionist said she would post them, I was a bit disappointed that they charged us £2. 90 postage, this after we had spent almost £1000 including room drinks lunches and dinner. It would have been a very good customer service, if they had not asked me to pay the postage. I know it was my fault that I forgot them, but it would have been a nice gesture to have not changed.
