The Admiral Rodney Hotel, Horncastle

"Staff and food were great but bed was awful!"

We were greeted by a very friendly lady who got us checked in. We booked for dinner at the restaurant, food was very nice and service was faultless. We had a very enjoyable evening until it was time to go to bed! The room, whilst clean and modest, had the most uncomfortable bed Ive ever slept on. I woke up around 6am unable to move as my neck and back had seized up. My husband had the same thing, however not as bad. Two days later and I’m still struggling to move. Unfortunately for this reason we wouldn’t stay here again (we were room 208) which is a shame as we found the staff, food and cleanliness very good. Owners need to invest a bit more in beds which don’t leave someone unable to turn!
