The Three Swans Hotel, Eatery and Coffee House, Hungerford

"Attentive staff, comfortable rooms, excellent food "

The title says everything. The attractively modernized hotel is situated in the heart of the charming market town of Hungerford. The hotel has half a dozen private parking spaces, but ample public parking is available immediately behind the hotel so no problem there.
The standard rooms are compact, but very well appointed. The building is 500 years old, but the interior is contemporary. Food is modern British and should be sampled. The only minor criticism is that the wine is rather overpriced and one evening there was no draught ale at all. The mayor was a customer on that evening and she and the town councillors were not amused!
The staff were all helpful and committed.
