The Feathers Hotel, Ledbury

"Two day break"

On the first night of our visit we had a meal in the bar area of the hotel. Because we had our dog with us we were only allowed to eat in this area. We did not have any problems with eating here as it is very comfortable.Unfortunately there didn’t appear to be any staff allocated to serving residents in this area. Consequently we felt that we had been forgotten about. We understood that the restaurant was very busy, but the length of time and lack of attention was unacceptable. We decided not to eat dinner there the next night. Breakfast service only improved on final day as the restaurant was not busy. Food is very good and well presented. Staff are very friendly and we felt our dog was very welcome with added treats. The room was clean and very comfortable which isn’t always the case with dog friendly rooms. Hotel did apologise which we appreciated and we would visit again.
