"Promised so much"

A nice ambiance, but sadly that was it.
My starter was superb (belly pork) my mother’s crab and Nina Bon Bon’s were underwhelming.
My duck was average and the monkfish overly salty.
The pana cotta superb so too the brownie.
The service sadly was so disappointing. A long wait for the mains and then for the bill (30 mins) spoilt the occasion. The attitude of the member of staff who finally took outlet payment was dreadful. It was almost as if we were wrong in voicing our disappointment.
