We were a party of 5 who visited the Talbot on respected friend’s recommendation. So good this place you don’t really want to tell anyone else. The rooms have such character, Classic FM playing all our favourite Christmas on the radio in our room, really really comfy bed, hot shower with good pressure. Comfy cocktail bar (my downfall) and a delicious evening meal (don’t order the tart tatin, it’s all mine). A bookshelf on the landing to choose for bedtime reading, this hotel is pure class. We shall return.
