"Service lets it’s down"

Great place and good food but … service constantly lets it down. Felt that it was an inconvenience that we had bothered to turn up which in turn made me feel uncomfortable. Not sure if this is due to short staffing or that there is a10% surcharge automatically added so perhaps no incentive for staff to do other than the bare minimum required. It could be a great place but unfortunately on the occasions that we have been there has hardly been anyone in. I paid cash and did not receive any change, it should not be an expectation that this was a ‘tip’ when a service charge had already been added and the service was not worthy of an additional tip.
