"Warm reception - cold food "

We were a table of 4 and we had very high expectations for our meal as we visited due to recommendations.

The choice of food on the menu was good, the wine menu was brilliant too.

Service was good, slow drinks to come out, but we were not in a rush.

Starters were lovely.

Mains came out and the presentation was excellent and mouthwatering. The taste of each of the dish, was delicious - however the food was tepid. We were not checked in on by staff to raise the issue and we were hungry by this point. We were very disappointed.

Puddings were delicious, but again tepid in temperature.

I feel if the staff were attentive, we could have raised the issue and would have written a more positive review.

I also had to track staff down to get our bill to pay.

One of the guests dining has coeliac disease, this was announced when our order was being taken. There was no confidence given to us that cross contamination was controlled and when the main was put down, the waitress ran over because they were concerned they had given them the wrong meal.
