The Talbot Country House Hotel, Malton

"Warm hospitality and great food"

We really enjoy our visits to the Talbot. We used to stay over but now we live in Malton we pop in more frequently for food and drinks. Today we invited friends to join us for lunch in the restaurant. We all chose something different (I am working my way through the menu) and everyone enjoyed their meal. The Pie of the Day was lamb and vegetable which delighted my husband whilst our youngest guest cleared his plate of fish and chips.Our other choices of liver and bacon and mushroom gnocchi were also good. We all had puddings, special mention for my Classic Crème Brûlée which was perfect and not messed about as so often happens. Looking forward to our next visit.
