"Disappointing"

Unfortunately service was slow. Not sure if short staffed or not. Helpful and friendly waitress in the dining room however 35 mins after arriving we were still waiting for 2 glasses of wine. My starter of mussels was good but my husband’s mackerel seemed raw and very strong. He sent it back and ordered ham hock terrine which was just ok. Main of venison haunch was tasty but chewy with bland gravy. My daube of beef was good. Potato accompaniments on both were bland.
