The Talbot Country House Hotel, Malton

"Good but not perfect!"

A pleasant evening with good service and a lovely environment. The only real disappointment relates to the deserts. The chocolate and hazelnut mouse was dense and solid and not the right texture for a mouse. The passionfruit cheesecake was de-constructed and that should have been stated on the menu. OK both tasted nice but were not as expected.
