The Talbot Country House Hotel, Malton

"Delivered and met expectations on all fronts..."

Being retired innkeepers and owners we have high expectations......

We came , we stayed, we ate, we slept and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and quiet, the tea bags had strength, the bath had depth, and bed was very comfortable. Robes and smellies were excellent. The supper in the restaurant was first rate and most importantly ALL the staff were lovely, smiley and chat in a good way.

My only suggestion is not to have a lovely winter duvet on in the summer and provide some more blankets in wardrobe.

We will return and the restaurant is a must.....
