"Slightly Disappointed Today"

Having visited many times in the past, my partner and I decided to visit for a late lunch last Sunday. We invited my parents as they have also enjoyed the food/restaurant in the past too. But I have to say I was rather disappointed at this visit. Staff were as lovely as ever but the food let it down. My mum loves a roast and chose the chicken but found the roast potatoes too hard to bite, my dad found his steak rather chewy (this was changed but the second one wasn't much better) and the chips with my burger were very hard and crispy, I felt like I had the 'bits' at the end and not many nice chips.
We decided on this occasion not to have pudding. I am usually a big fan of the Three Swans and hope that this was just a one off.
