"Great location, hotel in need of additional tlc"

This hotel occupies an enviable location close to the main high street. My wife and stayed for night in a ground floor room. The room was comfortable aside from a non working shower and ceiling fan and a towel radiator that stayed permanently on to a maximum heat with no option to switch off. Dinner was good with a variable menu choice. The breakfast was very disappointing, few staff, buffet bowls in need of replenishment and no bread for the toaster.
