"Stunning cakes beautiful setting "

I've had some really bad afternoon teas in the last 6 months so I needed something really special for my birthday. This did not disappoint, the cakes were phenomenal, I'm a baker so I'm incredibly judgemental and each one tasted like heaven. The pastry on the tart was so buttery, the spiced apple cake was so light, the chocolate orange was a delight, I don't even like coffee and the tiramisu choux was beautiful. The scones had great height and were huge! Endless tea, tasty sandwiches and very attentive servers. Great price too. Very happy with our afternoon tea and would happily return. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. My only slight niggle was the added service charge when there was only 3 of us. This is more expected with tables of 6+. We were a little bit guilted into leaving a tip which I wasn't keen on but obviously the service was very good.
