"Service varied tremendously "

I have eaten lunch twice at The White Hart Royal in the last three weeks and they varied tremendously. The first time I booked easily and quickly and my lunch of liver and bacon was excellent. On Monday evening I rang twice to make a reservation and had no reply. On Tuesday I rang twice without reply and resorted to email. My lunch of pappardelle was overcooked and tasted only of lemon juice. Certainly not al dente and subtly flavoured.
