The Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry

"A delightful surprise!"

We booked quite late for a table for 2.
Arrived and we were so surprised with the restaurant at the back of the hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our starter arrived promptly and beautifully served, delicious, we had olives and whitebait. Main course absolutely delicious. Not just one member of staff was attentive, but all of them. We looked at the dessert menu and couldn't resist Creme Brulé and a cheesecake. Again presented beautifully. Wine and drinks lovely. The staff had time for chatting to us too. My husband remarked how clean the toilets were.
Once we had settled the bill Chris the restaurant manager came and chatted to us and shook our hand on leaving. This hotel comes highly recommended by us, and when we return to Oswestry, we shall definitely be returning. So thanks Chris and team. Fantastic!
