"Lovely meal, unfriendly welcome when we arrived early"

Food was very good, waiting staff were excellent at up selling additional courses and drinks. Service was good throughout the meal, we did however arrive early and the welcome was less than warm and we were instructed to sit in the bar until 6pm when the restaurant was almost empty. We booked a birthday offer which was not transferred to our bill, we had to point this out to the staff and they then adjusted the bill. Had we been in company this could have been embarrassing.
