"Disappointing"

We came to celebrate my son’s GCSE results thinking it would be a nice “treat” but left extremely disappointed. Waited an over an hour for food despite the restaurant being quiet when we arrived. When the food eventually came out the pie was inedible…unable to cut through the pastry and then face with dry over cooked meat no gravy or sauce whatsoever within the pie and my sons burger had clearly been sat under lamps with rock hard melted cheese and an equally rock hard egg. I would have raised this at the time however due to the time waiting for our food we had to make do with what we had and leave as my husband had a work meeting. We was not asked once during our meal of everything was or if we wanted more drinks however I did notice that the restaurant manager was very attentive with certain tables such a shame that wasn’t shown to all customers. Even just getting the bill was a challenge due to being ignored by staff members.
