"Depends on what you order"

We had evening meal, breakfast and evening snacks. The evening main meals were good but the small plates lacked flavour. Breakfast was lovely but should give more toast, although it was fine to ask for more. The evening snack as in the ploughman was very poor. One small piece of cheddar, and then the pate had 2 very small crisps breads. On this occasion we asked for more bread which was £1.55 for a slice. Overall I was not overly impressed with the standard of food for a fiver star hotel.
