"Gorgeous wedding at The Talbot "

We were just eating in the restaurant but it was a beautiful evening and there had been a wedding. There was a great atmosphere.
We sat outside with a drink. I have to say, not great service in the bar with no welcome or acknowledgement but we got over it.
Lovely service in the restaurant but maybe a long wait for our meals but we didn't order starters so could be the reason. Only slight disappointment for one of us who ordered Butter Chicken burger that was the hottest thing to eat. This person likes hot and spicy but the menu had not mentioned that. The client mentioned it to a member of staff who said she would feedback but we didn't want to complain too much because it was a special get together for two sisters who live 300 miles apart. Great night overall in The Talbot.
