"Not as good as it should have been"

Easy to book the bar to eat, table reserved and the bar man asked the people to vacate it when we arrived. Bar drinks prompt service, coffee took 20 minutes. Food order taken but took over 45 minutes for it to arrive, which was far too long. Food was ok, the burger had no lettuce and the egg mayo sandwich had no watercress-it didn’t seem fresh egg mayo either. Puddings arrived with less wait and were good, coffees didn’t arrive at all and no-one seemed to know about them. Removing them from the bill couldn’t be done at the bar,-not very seamless to pay at the coffee shop. So few staff in the bar area but Aaron is a real credit to you-I hope he receives a share of the automatic gratuity you applied to our whole bill.
