The Kings Head Hotel, Richmond

"Evening meal"

Following a busy day out on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway we decided to book a table at the Kings Hotel for an early evening meal, the Hotel was obviously busy with a wedding party upstairs and to be fair to our waitress Hattie she did say as much when we arrived, Hattie by the way was very attentive and professional not just with us but all the diners at the time. My daughter and I choose the Dirty Burger which promised so much from the description, unfortunately when it arrived it was some what disappointing the double beef patties were nothing more than what seemed to be frozen birdseye/supermarket beef burgers with a mere sprinkling of pulled pork, my wife choose the breast of chicken which was better. Overall left us a bit flat, the Kings Head was our last meal in Yorkshire before heading back to Winchester after a weeks holiday, would have rated 2 stars had it not been for Hattie's honestly and customer service, such a shame
