"Decidedly average"

Considering it was a special occasion(our wedding) it didn’t really feel like one!!!!! We were greeted and went to the bar and paid for a bottle of champagne as we were early for our allocated time. This was fine. We went through to the Tudor room and were told we had unlimited refills of tea and coffee, were given our food and Prosecco. We then weren’t seen to again until we went to ask someone for containers to take away the food we had not eaten. I was then presented with some bags by the receptionist and was expected to do it myself. At this point my wife went and saw somebody else and said that her mum would like a coffee and that no one had actually come and asked us if we wanted any drinks refills. We were presented at this point with more Prosecco as an apology which we really didn’t need as people were driving. We did also get a 25% reduction on the bill but overall felt this was all a bit unnecessary and should have run a lot smoother. We did also get an apology when presented with the second glasses of Prosecco and were told a ‘ cross over of staff was to blame!!!!
