"Afternoon Tea"

Booked a table for 6 as part of my retirement celebration. Emailed The White Horse months before and they advised what was available and I booked. I paid £5 per head deposit. I was sent a reminder a couple of days before. On the morning I needed to cancel 1 of the guests which was no issue for them.

It was a Monday and we arrived to quiet restaurant and were allocated a table by the window. It was a warm day but the restaurant was the perfect temperature. The table was laid beautifully with a white cloth and linen napkins. The member of staff who looked after us was knowledgeable and friendly. The tea was very pleasant and the scones especially were scrumptious. We stayed longer than we anticipated as we were so comfortable in our surroundings.
