"Let down by service"

We had a meal here with friends on a Bank Holiday Sunday. The food was decent enough but the whole experience was badly let down by the service. I'm not sure whether there were staffing issues but it just wasn't good enough. We waited an hour for our mains and were brought the wrong dishes. Nobody came to bring us drinks so we kept going to the bar. After being told there would be no delay with desserts we ordered, waited a long time and were again brought 2 incorrect dishes, meaning half our party of 4 finished before the other 2 had been served correctly. Paying took another 30 mins. All in all we were there for 3 hours, for 2 courses. I wouldn't go back.
