"Lovely restaurant with good food"

The restaurant is in a beautiful room with a chandelier, elegant curtains and comfortable chairs. The staff were friendly and polite. Our food was very good. There were a few minor lapses in service. Our desserts were brought without spoons. The server brought them as soon as I asked, but just plonked them both down together on the table. My husband's wineglass had red wine on the bottom, which dripped onto his white trousers. Tablecloths would have improved the overall appearance, but I know that involves more laundry and probably a higher price, however, we did have cloth serviettes. But these niggles did not spoil our evening.
