The GM who greeted us was very friendly and helpful.
The waitress who took our order was fine but lacked any sort of friendly enthusiasm.
The bao bun starter was still frozen, and the soda bread was dry and stale.
Both of these issues were resolved quickly, but without any real interest in the issue.
The dauphinois potatoes and seaweed pave potatoes were both incredibly dry, bland and generally unappetising.
We didn’t mention this at the time as the restaurant was busy and we didn’t really think there was any way of rectifying the situation as we didn’t want anything else to eat.
The simpler dishes like fish and chips were executed much better.
The toilets were really very dirty. They smelt of urine and there was used toilet paper all over the floor of the toilet and by the sink.
