The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell

"Regular meals were nice but vegetarian options poor"

I am really reluctant to write this as we love the hotel and have been several times - as such this does not reflect on the hotel or the wonderful staff but rather the choice of menu by (I guess) the hotel management. There were only 2 vegetarian main meal options and both were very poor, both in choice, as they were Indian-cuisine based, (a dahl and a bhaji burger) and also in quality. We had to send the bhaji burger back on the first night as it was gooey in the centre and the dahl was bland on the second night.
