"Absolute delight and outstanding food and service "

Went here for a Birthday dinner, taking advantage of the fantastic birthday offer they have (free main and dessert for the birthday person! ID needed) and we were thrilled with it. Very attentive, friendly and organised service, particularly from the Duty Manager, who was lovely. The food was amazing, and could tell it was fresh and prepared in a fresh manner. Very pleased with the food, and the focaccia with the treacle butter and oil is one of the nicest things I've ever eaten! The dessert was a birthday surprise and we loved it and were very happy with how thoughtful the staff and The Rutland Arms were. Would highly recommend visiting if you are in Bakewell, and most importantly, they are dog friendly and have a dedicated dog section if you are coming for a meal.
