"Appalling sparkling afternoon te"

I booked this for our 30th wedding anniversary. From start to finish there wasn’t anything to compliment on - just awful comments. The sandwiches were like “builders” sandwiches according to my husband, no finger sandwiches. Had to ask for plates, more cutlery and the scones were old!! Manager agreed and we’ve been invited back for a “proper” afternoon tea. But we cannot get our 30th anniversary back. It’s gone!!! All in all we won’t forget out Pearl Wedding Anniversary.
